All about Airclad[x]

As a director at bdesign I have always been looking at new innovations in design as part of what we offer, in events, for shows and as well just being interested in new ideas.

In the early 2000’s I was sent to London to meet with a company who were creating amazing large inflatable structures, the designer of these structures was Nick Crosbie, we became fast friends and so I started to represent inflate range here in australia.

Fast forward to 2015 and Nick was coming to Australia with his latest design. A new range of structures, this was the first use of the Airclad in Australia.

In Nicks words “The thing with AirClad is that we never set out to challenge or disrupt the structures being used in the events industry. It was just obvious that the time had come to do something better.

We could see that the top brands and agencies wanted something better, which was not currently being offered. The work we had been doing with the Inflate Structures had helped us to see the patterns in what is needed at the core. Namely the following:

Solutions that are fast and easy to use

no one likes complicated fiddly products.

Space to ALLOW

Easy application of services

such as power, lighting, branding. The end space needs to look seamless.

Engineering beyond temporary.

A solution that can be relied on in all weather.

And finallY…

Assurance and reliability.

These factors are what drives the Airclad range.

We can now offer Airclad structures in Australia, you can find out more about the brand here.
